The Alphabet Killer [ENG+ITA]

SERIES: Less horrid, but still UGLY movies!!!
SERIE: Film minormente orridi, ma pur sempre BRUTTI!!
[ENGLISH VERSION]
HI EVERYONE! This month is my blog's first birthday and I wanted to do something different to celebrate, so... here's my first English post! A few little notes:
  1) I begin with the plot and finish with personal impressions,
  2) When you see some red words around, they’re clickable links with photos or extra stuff,
  3) This blog is just for fun: this is NOT my job and I’m NOT a serious reviewer! In fact I prefer to blast and pan ugly movies.
  4) Keep in mind that I write on MY OWN point of view, and there's
      no accounting for taste!
Enjoy this "BORINGbeth Killer" and in case of errors or grammar blasphemies, please forgive me: I’m trying my best but this is not my mother language ;-)

The plot is looooosely based on the Alphabet murders happened in the 70s in New York area: 3 little girls were raped, strangled and found dead in towns with the same initial letter of their names and surnames (Carmen Colon found in Churchville, Wanda Walkowicz in Webster, and Michelle Maenza in Macedon). These crimes are still unresolved, so the director choose a fictional ending.

Detective Megan Paige is investigating the murder of little Carla Castillo found in Churchville. We (and probably Megan too) don’t know why, but she’s already convinced that there is a serial killer around.
Trying hard to prove her *brilliant* intuition, but discredited by colleagues and boyfriend; she only gets hallucinations, a nervous breakdown and a suicide attempt. After 2 years of medical care with the help of her friend on wheelchair Richard, Megan rejoins the police… But guess what? OMG, another letter-match-murder! And shortly after another one!!! It seems like the serial(?) killer waited for her comeback. Now we’re pleased to see some of Megan’s hallucinations: the absolutely non-scary ghosts of the 3 strangled girls. Pffffff, a paranormal twist? Really?! That is completely unsought and totally useless.
By the way from now on everything  is quite the same… No wait, this film is ALWAYS the same: Megan investigating, Megan getting closer to a solution, Megan nervous breakdowns toing and froing, Megan in danger, Megan and spirits… Boring. DAMN boring.
                                          [SPOILER]
In the silly chosen final we understand that Megan always had the guilty right under her very nose, as her wheelchaired pal stands up and tries to kill her. The Movie ends with the detective bound in a hospital bed surrounded by odd phantoms (mysteriously multiplied from 3 to HUNDRED), and the murderer happily free like a little sparrow, preparing a new assault.
                                  [END OF THE SPOILER]

I watched "The Alphabet Killer" much time ago so I don’t remember every single particular, as I forgot it the minute right after the end titles ‘cause it is one of the most boring and pointless movies I've ever seen.
I remember it’s all very dark and blurry - or maybe it was just me falling asleep!
The running time seems never-ending because the movie has no suspense, no script and very bad actors. Check yourself: this is the leading actress (pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4). Don’t know about you, but I really don’t feel the panic she is supposed to transmit.
Special effects are ugly, and the end… Well, you’ve read it, it’s quite idiot.
If you’re looking for a good thriller = that’s not the title for you, but if you’re looking for a sleep-inducing thing = you’re in the right place!

[VERSIONE ITALIANA]

Qualcuno l'aveva richiesta? No in quanto DISutile.
